Great Commuter Bike – Solid and Reliable!
I’ve been using the Engwe EP-2 Boost daily for my commute, and it’s been a fantastic ride so far. It’s incredibly useful for getting to work smoothly, reliable, and comfortable even on roads full of bumps. The suspension does a great job; I barely feel anything when riding over rough patches.
The bike does feel a bit heavy to lift, especially when moving it around or up stairs, but that’s expected with a solid e-bike like this. Once you’re riding, though, that weight turns into stability and confidence on the road.
I usually ride at around 26km/h, which is decent for my needs, though I do wish it could go just a little bit faster. Still, for commuting and general city riding, the speed is more than enough.
The color of the bike is lovely, I’ve gotten compliments on it and overall, I have no major complaints. The only tricky part was the assembly. It definitely took two people to put it together properly, so I’d recommend having a friend help out.
All in all, it’s a great value commuter e-bike that I’d happily recommend.
